With some skill I ended up installing the product myself and it wasn't that difficult. However, I did not follow the supplied instructions from the supplier. The manual says in the fine print that you may need a spring compression tool to rotate the shock inside the strut. Well, you definitely need to twist the spring. Don't worry about spring compressors rented locally as they won't get the job done. I ended up watching a youtube video on how to easily decompress a spring with a jack and it was a much easier method than the instructions outlined. While I don't publicly recommend this method, it was very easy and safe to perform. I got the job done in less than 90 minutes just because I took my time with the first page. Reviewers recommended reconfiguring the truck after installation, which I did. However, the alignment was still perfect so nothing needed to be done. I think the chances of that happening are 50/50. All in all a great product and does what it's supposed to.
