Very good for serious beginners and intermediates.

The quality is an order of magnitude higher than other models. The lenses are pretty generic, fit most cameras and look great. I use a large science chamber and needed to get a plan with goals. The trinocular focuser is virtually useless for objects larger than a few ounces. Once that's no longer a guarantee I plan on drilling a hole and tapping it for a small metric screw to hold the camera turret in place as it doesn't even have that. But so far I don't see a good way to fix the focuser. The darkfield condenser is good, but be aware that you need a different object and a different object for the 100x darkfield. This is great for around 50x targets. The light gets insanely hot, as expected, and doesn't have a fan like the older models. So adding a fan will be very helpful.
