The basic version of i3 easily handles work in Safari (up to 25 tabs with plugins), Pages and instant messengers (whatsapp, telegram), Spark mail. The processor does not suffocate - but the RAM is almost not enough (because at startup 6GB out of 8 is already taken). Small delays due to shortcomings in the RAM are felt more than noise and overheating of the processor - so the best choice would be to take a custom i3 + 16gb, not an i5 + 8gb. Even when it starts to make noise, it stops pretty quickly after closing the resource-intensive application. What is especially remarkable is that it works almost silently and without voltage in the same mode with an external 2K monitor with a built-in USB hub. For some reason, in the same scenario, MBP16 is already flying into space. Video editing, working with sound, processing multi-layer posters with plug-ins - take pity on the baby, buy a MacBook Pro. Display, case, sound, touchpad, key illumination - a typical MacBook, everything is super. Now with a flawless keyboard.
