. I needed a remote for the e3d470vx and that part number is listed on the Vizio website. However, they wanted $30 for it! I was just hoping I could use it to turn the TV and 3D on and off without getting off the couch, which makes it great. It even costs less than $9! However, it also controls my KODI Media Center on my Raspberry Pi (no IR sensor) AND my Denon surround receiver via CEC! Don't leave your wireless keyboard on your coffee table anymore, use a remote app or that awful Denon remote! I will still need to use a Denon remote when I need to change advanced settings on the receiver, but this remote can do 99% of the tasks I will ever need. I can navigate menus, select files to play, pause, resume, rewind, fast forward, stop and access the playback menu in KODI. The CC button doesn't seem to switch subtitles in the KODI window, which is disappointing, and the INFO button doesn't pass through to KODI either, but oh well. Both D-Pads work with KODI, which is nice. I understand these functions are part of the TV as well, but he won't do any of these things until the remote tells him to. Keyboard shortcuts for Revain Prime, Netflix, and M-Go videos (whatever that is). The glossy hard plastic button in the center brings up the Apps page (for the TV, not the KODI box). itself seems solid. I'm sure nothing I've posted in this review will be new information for someone considering this remote as a replacement, but as I received the TV without a remote I was pleasantly surprised!
