Review on Microphone Condenser Recording Streaming Headphone by Fock Dean

High quality microphone

We bought this microphone for piano lessons through Zoom and it works perfectly. The sound is much better than using the computer's internal microphone, and this microphone allows students to capture the dynamics of piano playing much more clearly. The range from 20Hz to 20kHz is also impressive for this price. The microphone is solid - not cheap. What really drew me to the purchase was the 4 pickup circuit options - rare to find on a mic in this price range. I like that it's USB, so we don't need a separate interface or mixer to connect it to the computer. And it worked in a MacBook without having to install anything or even change many settings (simply by selecting it as the input source). It even goes through a powered USB hub with no noticeable lag or degradation. If I had to criticize this mic, I wish it had an on/off switch. We leave it plugged into the computer all the time, and since it's USB powered, it stays on all the time. The on/off switch allows you to turn it off without having to turn it off every time. Also, the light on the mute button is bright and constantly on (unless the mic is muted, in which case it blinks), but that can be both a good and bad thing depending on how you use it. After all, by the handles it is difficult to see where the selector is located. As another reviewer said, a small amount of white nail polish on the pen selector should fix this issue. It's perfect for audio enhancement in conference calls, gaming, and even amateur recording. The gain control and 4 recording patterns really give you the freedom to customize your sound. And it mounts to a barbell post, so you really can put it where you need it. Overall I'm really impressed with this mic and didn't expect this level of sound and overall quality from a mic in this price range.
