Review on Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 SP XR Di LD Aspherical (IF) Lens for Canon DSLR Cameras (Model A09E) by Avut Bouchen ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Nothing special, there are positive and negative sides.

In a general sense, the lens is intended for regular folks. Or for weddings done in a pop manner, which, as you are aware, are the work of unsuccessful photographers who have repeated themselves by following a well-worn path. They will value this lens + due to the fact that it is offered at a price that is more or less appealing. The lens is not even close to being comparable to the same Minolta in terms of the quality of the construction and, more crucially, the design. Due to the fact that the drawing is really mundane, journalistic, and information. It lacks "character," in that it does not possess a pleasing blur that does not degenerate into annoying ripples and spots that are overly purposeful. The race for blur and aperture is, of course, the lot of the villagers, who relish making the background look like snot (despite their inability to make it a part of the story) and exclaim, "wow, how awesome!" and who would simply adore this lens if it had a "hole" even wider than 1.8. Others who make mundane photographs in studios in the way of some of the photographic examples presented here: folks who enjoy wax gleaming mannequins - utterly mundane pop retouching. Yet, in situations where it is appropriate or where aperture is absolutely necessary, the bokeh turns out to be pretty unremarkable, and the only factor that contributes to an improvement is aperture. It goes without saying that the absence of 24 mm is still keenly felt. Do not allow yourself to entertain the thought that "maybe it will come down, maybe it will be fine." Not going to. You won't notice it at first, but after a few days, you will begin to miss this seemingly insignificant detail regularly. Hence, there won't be much room for variety. In closing, I would want to issue a word of caution and let you know that there is a good chance that you may grow to dislike this lens. As it turned out, neither there nor here was the correct answer. My evaluation is unbiased since I did not have to pay for this lens; they handed it to me without any strings attached, and I used it for an entire week while I was attempting to rationalize its value to myself. But unfortunately, that wasn't the case:( The unpleasant truth is that Tamron never lacks it. It always appears as though they have finally done a great job, but when all factors are considered, it never quite lives up to the standard that was set. On the other side, it feels very good when held. the operation of focus (Sony a7 III)

Pros
  • Work that is stable and has good "grip"
Cons
  • Unimpressive drawing with a blotchy, rippling "bokeh." It is imperative that anyone interested in acquiring this lens read the cautionary note that may be found below.
