This bag is perfect for a tandem bike. It has two straps, one at one end and the other in the middle. It then has a hole with a gasket on the other end for tying. We used this to cover our tandem which was in the back of our van. When we got to the first stop and removed the cover to use the bike, we found that wherever the cover touched the bike, the silver lining had worn away from the cover. The two built-in straps then broke, allowing the lid to partially deflate. TLDR: May be suitable for covering and storing the bike in the backyard, but not suitable for covering a touring bike.
