Surprisingly Fast Results

I have clayed my cars for years as you would expect clay ingots. Lately my car paint has had small particles, almost like paint splatters. Polishing didn't help, and gluing this pain together took a lot of work, even in small areas. It took me 45 minutes to finish the bonnet of a black Fiat 500 from standard clay. As it was very labor intensive I decided to order a tone wheel to use with a Porter cable polisher. When it arrived I decided to try it by hand just to see how it compares, and holy cow! Even by hand it cuts way better than my clay block. I made the trunk and rear fenders of my BMW Z3 in literally 2 minutes. Hand. Simply spray on your favorite lube or use soapy water. I couldn't believe how smooth and consistent the results were in basically 2-3 puffs across the area. I'm not sure I'll be using this with a polisher now. I could just use it manually, it's that simple. I highly recommend this sound pad.
