Not very well made but works without problems so far. The two prongs forming an arc appear bent and misaligned. Functionally it didn't cause any problems, but I wonder if there will be problems in the future. It comes with a nice locking slider, but you can't tell at a glance which position is which. It would be helpful to have a visual indication of whether the lighter is locked or not. The instructions are printed on the back of the box but they are very poorly made. The imprint is difficult to read. Also, the instructions are poorly translated. Luckily, the lighter is easy enough to figure out without instructions. Overall, arc lighter technology is really good. I particularly like that it can be reused much more times than a traditional butane gas lighter and that the wind doesn't bother me. The flexible shaft of this device is handy for accessing those hard-to-reach places. Lighting some candles and a gas stove worked well. My only other complaint is that because the distance between the two pins is so short, the candles' wicking material gets deposited on the pins when lit and burns out on subsequent lights. This causes smoke to come out of the lighter even if you don't light anything.
