Easy connection of parts. Directions were appropriate. I was working to get the mechanics working properly, but as soon as I started following the steps below, they stopped working. There were pinch points that were inaccessible after certain parts were attached and there was no way to fix them. If you go back and try to grind/adjust the mechanism, a new pinch point appears and I can never find a magic trick to fix it. The lid had a design flaw, but the glue and post-processing fixed it. I gave it up. It looked nice and pretty, but since it didn't work it was just something else taking up space. I was hoping it would be a good container, but there wasn't enough in it. I would have to disassemble everything to remove the mechanism and turn it into a container box and I just wasn't ready for that after all the trouble.
