Review on Garmin dezlCam 785 LMT-S GPS Truck Navigator with Integrated Dash Cam by Josh Lockhart

Overpriced - software error

Garmin needs to improve. This GPS suffers from software and child performance issues. I drive heavy trucks. I like the ability to change trailers, axles, weights and dimensions and add them to the vehicle profile. For the most part, limited weight roads and bridges were eliminated for me. Dislikes - Impossibility to find a specific exit - Awkward to calculate where you will be in say 50 minutes. - The graphics are a complete joke. Sometimes I wonder if Leap Frog and Garmin teamed up for graphic design. Like it or not, finding a specific address is flatbread. It ALWAYS looks for the address in neighboring states, not the city and state you type. The device randomly changes screens as if I pressed the selection with my finger. I spoke to Garmin Tech. They had several posts about it and offered a new free replacement. I think you can't beat that. The Smart Link app is not working. I've tried almost everything. The GPS does not recognize that the application on the device is connected, although the application on the phone informs about it. The content of the app borders on garbage. I just like it when everything works as it should. To sum it up, it's expensive, maybe there's a better device, I believe trucker based GPS is crucial for the driver, it works well but has major flaws and overpriced if google maps had online maps, google like truckers, i would like to watch them. Oh, last but not least. I LOVE how the damn suction cup GPS loses suction and falls off the windshield onto the dash onto the floor. Can't it come with a permanent adhesive mount as well as a suction cup mount?
