When I saw this set of Panasonic batteries I decided to buy them because of the brand's reputation - for the most part. However, as soon as I opened the package, I noticed that each battery had a charge of no more than 1.2 volts. Instead of the 1.5V that every damn AAA has! For example when I tried to use them on my remote control I immediately got a warning light saying the batteries were low even though they were fully charged! So I ended up returning them for a refund and opted for traditional alkaline (non-rechargeable) ones instead. For reference only, most conventional batteries (AA, AAA, C, D, etc.) will stop working once their charge drops below 1.5 volts. I have tested many different sizes of used batteries with a multimeter before discarding them and always found they had 1.2 to 1.4 volts left! This is information I'm pretty sure most battery manufacturers don't want you to hear :)
