Does what it should!

Works great. A word of warning, if your Jeep is reading lower voltage, you may need to check the voltage regulator in the ECM or PCM, whatever you call the computer in the car (that's not a problem with this product!). I've found I don't really need this alternator, but I like having shiny things under the hood and it works well. The product is great and works well!
