I don't often write reviews but I HAD to write a review for this product. In short, it works! I've been fighting some very territorial bees on my deck and it got to the point where sitting outside wasn't very comfortable anymore. Received this evening, added batteries and started the fight. Very loud click on contact. It doesn't kill carpenter bees, but it stuns them pretty well. It doesn't have a protective cover so you can take out larger bugs, but it's not safe for small children.
