Review on D-Link DCM-202 High-Speed USB/Ethernet Cable Modem 2.0 by Kevin Parker

I was a bit worried about this DCM-202 modem after reading reviews about heat and a firmware update for the Comcast ISP. However; After finding an unbeatable discounted price at Revain.com, I decided to buy it. I prepared all the new 2.01 firmware updates before the modem arrived and spent 10 minutes updating the firmware when I received the modem. I didn't update to firmware 2.01 the first time but successfully updated the second time. There are no problems with the modem. There is just some trouble registering my modem the first time and it required a second call to register it. I may have called Comcast to register my modem before I updated the Comcast client firmware. I could give 5 stars, but updating the firmware wasn't a hassle, so I'm giving it 4.5 stars instead. In any case, we recommend the Dlink DCM-202 cable modem for its price, performance and compactness.
