I think this was the cheapest roof bag I saw shopping so my expectations were low. I was very pleasantly surprised. This is a good solid bag that held a lot of gear and got the job done well. It fits perfectly on the Toyota RAV4 roof rack and attaches securely with the 8 straps provided. We drove through two heavy downpours during our 500 mile ride and everything was completely dry. A good tip to avoid rain problems is to make sure the hinge side of the bag is facing forward when attaching it. Also, pack in such a way that the bag does not clump and the protective valve closes the zipper evenly. We also bought a $10 roof protection mat which I recommend. The non-slip mat seemed to make the whole setup safer. The bag also includes a small zippered storage pouch. Didn't think it folded to fit back in, but it fit perfectly, no problem.
