Nothing to say about fake rings and gemstones but I have to say it was an estimate. My wife doesn't always enjoy playing with her engagement/wedding ring for many reasons, but especially when we play sports. Losing that ring will kill her, but she also feels like she wants something there as a token of our connection. A woman is fickle and I'm just trying to make her happy. Buying this set was an appreciation. The quality is excellent for what it is and I am very satisfied.
