Bought a Specter/Moeller gas canister on a trip to Canada a few years ago just to avoid coming into contact with the usually poorly designed EPA gas canister. Used a few times (great!), then lost the stupid cap that blocks the spout (round piece) and probably also serves to block the gas bottle opening when the spout is removed. So I had the pleasure of ordering a whole new spout to get the .25 part I needed to self-block the tip of the spout. It will pay off to be more careful in the future. The downside to this non-EPA compliant design is that I'm afraid of what would happen if the jar were tipped over and there's nothing specific to block the release of gas from her stomach. Bad things can follow. Those who want to refuel like they used to, can relive the memories they found with a Specter gas cartridge (once it goes back to Canada!).
