I really wanted this to work when I have my bike on the trainer since the bike computer I normally use is on my front wheel. I wanted something simple for the rear wheel when I was on the treadmill. I installed this device on the rear hub as directed. I've tried all four uses suggested in the guide. Two out of four didn't work with him at all. The other two said I would go 1 mph no matter how fast I pedaled. I've been pedaling as fast as I can and once hit 5km/h, but I know my fastest pedaling effort is much faster than 5km/h. I spent two hours getting this thing to work. I give up and send it back. Update: I bought another one just to see if my first one was unlucky and I got a defective unit. nope! The second didn't work any better.
