Works Great: GPS, Finder, and Accessories

Tired of buying Wahoo speed sensors that keep failing. Also, changing their batteries will eventually destroy their cases. Also, they cost about $40. The Moofit sensor connected to my stud with no problems. I've used it on about six trips with no problems. It makes more sense to replace the battery with Moofit. I haven't done this yet, but it shouldn't damage the case. Even if it fails at the same rate as the Wahoo sensor, it costs half as much. highlighted.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers

EZ for customization. on GPS navigators for cycling

I bought this MOOFIT speed sensor to use when spinning indoors. I have already bought a MOOFIT cadence sensor and a heart rate monitor. Both were easy to set up and worked well. I used the WAHOO app for these sensors. The most important part of assembly is knowing your wheel size. I know that using a odometer sensor on a spinning bike is not the most accurate odometer reading. I feel that this is close and it helps me to set further goals and tasks.

I do not recommend for the spin bike

I should have consulted a couple of articles I read. A speed sensor on a spin bike can be a waste of money. There's no way I'm going to drive as fast as he's showing. Registers too quickly on both the Zwift app and my Garmin. I just don't think you can get the exact placement. As far as I can tell there is no way to calibrate it. I was happy with the cadence sensor but should not have bought a speed sensor. Again, this is for my specific use. I might try this on my regular bikes.

A flash of red light - good luck finding support

So it took me longer to set up the bike than I had planned and the weather was warm enough to ride outside longer, as I thought. Finally got to him. Install the bike, stand, iPad. Ready to Zwift. Then I proceeded to install the speed sensor. When I removed the protective plastic film from the battery and then put the battery back in, I got a solid red flash. That's all. I've repeatedly tried to find it on multiple Bluetooth-enabled devices (phone, iPad, PC) but haven't seen anything. This is a…

I wanted it to work and I tried, but twice.

I really wanted this to work when I have my bike on the trainer since the bike computer I normally use is on my front wheel. I wanted something simple for the rear wheel when I was on the treadmill. I installed this device on the rear hub as directed. I've tried all four uses suggested in the guide. Two out of four didn't work with him at all. The other two said I would go 1 mph no matter how fast I pedaled. I've been pedaling as fast as I can and once hit 5km/h, but I know my fastest pedaling…

Easy to install and easy to connect to my watch and bike computer

Bought this speed sensor for my bike. It was easy to install and never felt like the connection to the rear hub was unreliable. Connection to my watch (Garmin Fenix 5X) and bike computer (Wahoo Elemnt Bolt) was smooth and easy. The only point of criticism. Sensor died 10 months after purchase. I tried replacing the battery, but neither my watch nor my computer found it. Obviously not happy with it. I contacted support and they sent me a new one (they responded quickly with no issues). So far…

Dropped or no connection

Junk. Don't waste money. I'm going back to get a Wahoo or Garmin sensor. This sensor keeps losing connection and not recording speed or has speed spikes that don't match what I'm actually doing. It ruins my training, progress tracking and motivation. He has a job and he can't do it. I tried all the recommended apps and got either the same results or no results. Wahoo and Zwift connect with full power rails and measure intermittently. XOSS connects but never reports speed. I've tried forgetting…
