Review on 💦 Gates 43533 Premium Engine Water Pump: Ensuring Top-notch Cooling Performance by John Warren

I recently did the timing belt on my 2004 Kia Sorento and at the same time replaced the water pump as it is a lot of work to get to and on the original 130000 it's time to replace it. The Gates water pump contains many seals that work, but NOT 100%. I was surprised to find that the gasket that comes on top of the water pump (with three holes on the water pump description picture) is not included, in fact it is not available. Spare parts are not in the store, then the dealer only has a gasket. I don't understand how and why they include all the other seals in the kit and leave one of the hardest to find out of the kit. However, it is a water pump assembly, housing and all. I just hope it fits the Gates brand.
