Review on πŸ”₯ Corsair 275R Airflow Tempered Glass Mid-Tower Gaming Case - White: Optimal Cooling and Slick Design by John Harvieux

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good case, better life. BUT 100% will get a fan kit with this one. See below

As said, this is a great case. I love the look and size of everything it has but people come to the reviews to see the cons and there are 2 big cons here but they can easily be remedied. The mechanical hard drive slots were a problem. They're good on their own, they're a simple plastic construction that plugs into the pre-engineered area in front of the PSU behind the cover. The problem is that once you've routed each cable from the power supply to the board and back, you're basically screwing in where you can actually insert the cables into the hard drive to power the MOBO and transfer data. It might work with the settings I'm sure, but a much easier solution is to get a fully modular power supply (once the shipping blackout is over and you can buy power supplies again, lol). This allows you to cut excess wiring from the case and easily install the wiring in the hard drive tray. But the biggest problem for me is those crappy case fans. Invest $9 per fan in Coolermaster Sickeflow v2! These things don't break the bank like Corsair fans, with better performance than any fan at this price point, better RPM/CFM, good looks, and RGB or static color options if you want. Those stock Corsair SP120 fans blow hot, I couldn't keep my GPU below 75-80 with the fans on, swapped them out for Sickeflow for the front intake and on normal days it dropped to 65 instantly. It might not be dangerous, but over the course Over the years it's spent time without a GPU that could have lived longer in cooler temperatures and that's why this whole case revolves around its "airflow", it's not even the best airflow with good fans, pretty mediocre if you search following reviews comparing other tbh. But for $80 you can spend about $20-$30 on a v2 crescent airflow and the whole premise of a 275r airflow actually works decently.

Pros
  • Includes three 120mm fans for powerful airflow right out of the box
Cons
  • Durable
