Works much better than expected
They just work. I have a few bottles of champagne open at the moment and I hate wasting wine. These corks have managed to keep the sparkling wine fresh for over a week and so far there is no sign of a drop in pressure. BE CAREFUL when removing the plug, the pressure will build up a lot and they may fly off. The flavors seem to have held up quite well so far, perhaps because the CO2 displaces the air in the bottle so the wine doesn't oxidize as quickly as it would otherwise. Definitely recommended. I just hope they are strong enough not to break (you never know with products like this).
