Mainly used for cutting bicycle cables. Although the buttons are tight (as suggested by several other reviewers), the cutters sometimes don't cut cleanly. It is important that the ends of the bike cables are cut very cleanly so that they slide easily over the body. 1 in 5 cuts will cause the strands to break easily. It now cuts cable, but not as cleanly as other more expensive cable cutters. I'll end up just using it for cutting my torso. This should match the case cutter and it will save my good cable cutter.
