This will be my son's first home theater speaker set, we are assembling and buying a home theater speaker for him and I am very impressed with the quality and sound . In addition, it is a very versatile sound system, it can be connected to USB via Bluetooth. If you have a large room or don't have annoying neighbors, I'd recommend upgrading to floor-standing speakers for the front left and right channels and a dedicated center channel. I would leave the subwoofer and satellites for surround sound. This far exceeds my expectations for what you can get for the money! Pros: The subwoofer is fantastic! Price range Size Cons: No dedicated center channel speaker. The front left and right speakers could have been bigger (so a bookshelf instead of a satellite). Overall very happy with my purchase, great system for size and money! If you have a small space or are looking for a compact system that still works, I highly recommend this!
