Review on Ford FL3Z-99406A10-A Shock Assembly: Genuine Tailgate Support at its Finest by Shawn Vennakota

According to YouTube the installation process is very simple but oddly not that simple and here are the possible problems you may encounter: 1. The 50T bolts for the original latch are very tight on my 2017 F150 and than I tried to unhook them, I felt and sounded like something was seriously going to break. In fact, the metal plate that these screws go into is slightly bent, but that doesn't matter much; 2. When I pulled out my taillight a small plastic plate/chip came out and I couldn't figure out where it was installed. The part number on this little piece was FL34-13489-A, does anyone know? After installation, the help works as described. Basically satisfied.
