My hamster is very fierce when it comes to his water bottle, she has always nibbled on the one that came with her cage. She could pull out the rubber stopper or pull the nozzle out all the way and flood her cage with water until I had to change all of her litter every time, super nasty! So I bought this little beauty she finally can't open! She also seems to be drinking WAY, WAY more water (I give her filtered water from my Brita pitcher because LA water is gross) now that she has this new bottle. It's good to know that she's finally well hydrated! And I don't have to be nervous at night every time I hear her try to break it. The only reason I deducted 1 star is because the tiny plastic loop on the top of the bottle broke so I can no longer use it. a wire hanger to attach to the top of their cage. Luckily, a tight hair tie around the bottle and a loop through the cage is holding it in place for now. If that doesn't help, I won't hesitate to buy it again! Good price! The top probably wouldn't have broken if I hadn't tried twisting it so tight!
