No rubber bushing, best in aftermarket

are shown with a rubber bushing. It didn't come with it, so I sent it back and ordered a replacement. The replacement came without a rubber bushing. I may be able to use the existing one, but it's over 20 years old. I hate the thought that it won't work and I'll have to do it all over again. I also tried to find it separately but to no avail.
