The case is broken around the connector on the device but works perfectly.
I didn't notice when the skin was broken so I don't know how long it was. [Update:] I'm using it with my Xbox controller and it works fine when it's not being interfered with, but throws a connection error if the cable moves too much in that part of the cable. So it seems to be related.
