Review on 🥤 Pratico Kitchen QuickPour Water Pitcher: Airtight Pitcher for Juice and Beverages - Made in Japan, 2.3 qt, 73 oz, Black by Bob Jensen

Very thin plastic for the price!

I bought this jug to make lemonade in. I'm a bit surprised at how thin the plastic is. Seems very thin. So much so that I would be afraid to pour hot coffee or tea into it. I also planned to make iced tea and iced coffee in it. I would also like instructions on how to disassemble and reassemble the handle of the device. It does what it says on the tin, easy to open and pour with one hand. The pitcher goes well with lemonade so I'm sticking with this and other drinks that get cold in the pitcher because I'd be really scared of pouring boiling water into such a flimsy plastic. Considering the price, I really thought the plastic would be sturdier. If this pitcher breaks, I'll report back with an update. UPDATE: 09/28/19. Turns out I was right about the thinness of this plastic pitcher. I accidentally dropped it on our soft linoleum and the bottom corner of the jug broke. That shouldn't have happened with a plastic can. Other GLASS products fell onto this soft linoleum floor and didn't shatter. And for the price I paid it's ridiculous! I think I'll stick with Rubbermaid. If I had done it first I wouldn't have replaced it after only FIVE WEEKS of use!
