This is a good product and works great for my chameleon habitat. It can run for around two days before needing a refill (eight hours a day on low). I have two problems with this. Yes the ribs on the tube make it adjustable and able to stand on its own (not straight up but a certain length it can be held in that position) but if the tube is ever in a horizontal position make up mist condensation rises. in a tube like water smothered by a jet of mist that must be poured out in order to keep flowing. The second problem is how dirty the bottom of the tank is. Don't get me wrong, the base will not leak, drip or stain the table. It's the bottom of the tank that makes a mess. When I remove the tank to fill, the bottom gets wet and drops drip onto the surface, which I refill. Don't get me wrong, it's not a leak and it won't flood your house, but it drips enough for me to clean up and just enough to annoy me. It's still a good buy.
