Review on Airtex E2000 Electric Fuel Pump by Noah Smith

Warning. I recommend using this pump for other purposes. which I modified with a 4.7 liter injection engine. I have a regular fuel tank so there is no pump in the tank. I installed the Airtex E2000 on the right frame rail just in front of the rear wheel. Fastened with a sanitary tape. I used a 3/4" fuel injector hose for the inlet and then a steel braid from the pump to the pressure regulator on the engine. It's been doing very well for two years now, including some serious rotations. I have a spare and it's available at every auto zone .It holds the solid fuel pressure and has no overheating in this application.I would like to warn that the fuel injection is under high pressure and you need to pay attention to it.Fuel leakage after the pump will quickly turn into a fire.
