The kit and various cables appear to be good, the packaging was adequate and not excessive and the installation instructions were ok. The problem I had was related to video switching. I have a 2-27" LG with 3840 x 2160 resolution. My goal was to be able to use both monitors at the same time and be able to switch between the two machines. Unfortunately, LG monitors only have one display port. I configured KVM so that each Computer with 1 monitor display port being used as the primary and HDMI port as a secondary I never managed to get the setting to work, none of the monitors worked, switching between them resulted in a psychedelic display reminiscent of something from the 60's. I switched cables, hooked monitors to another computer, and practiced my vocabulary with short, meaningful sentences. Couldn't get it to work at all. Long story short, I got KVM back and am still looking a system I can get working. If you have a system with monitors that are more dislayport friendly than mine, this might work for you.
