They work well. Look very nice. The climb wasn't as steep as I thought it would be, but it makes a big difference if you're in the back row or on the balcony. Because the actors' faces were blurred, you can see their real facial expressions and reactions with glasses. It was especially great when we had tickets for the Hamilton Balcony almost in the last row. Really helped us see more detail and emotion throughout the show. It's great that they have a chain around their necks so you don't drop them in a dark theater. Cons: The lens fell off after a few uses, but luckily I found it and it was easy to put back on. You need to be very careful in setting the focus before pointing to get the desired result - focus can be delicate. If you watch a long show with them, bringing them to your face can make your hands very tired. Your eyes need some time (20-30 minutes?) to get used to seeing through them properly so that you see the same image and not twice. The viewing window displayed is quite small. So when the actors are acting or singing farther apart, you have to keep looking back and forth to see their faces. FINAL OPINION: Despite some reservations, very happy with them and absolutely glad I bought them.
