The Vinyl quality is good, feels thick and looks great when installed.Installation takes some practice to get good. My first several windows look a little like a toddler did them -- I'll need to get some more material and re-do some of them.I'm not going to rehash the directions that come with it -- read them, follow them, don't improvise. I improvised, and was sorry I did.Soap+water (as the instructions say) make the job a million times easier. It will stick just fine with water only, but it's really hard to move around and get placed right. A little soap allows it to slide a little to get good positioning.There's a metal straightedge and a razor in the tube - get them, use them. every so often, break off the blade to get a new/sharp edge, this will make your life easier. Cut out your window a little bigger than you need -- measure twice, cut once. Use the metal straightedge to trim to perfect edges.So - sounds like all of my issues were of my own doing -- this is partially true. So - why not five stars?First, the roll ends were not cut square. One edge was an inch or two longer than the other - so the ends of the roll were not 90 degree corners. It wasn't terribly obvious until I'd cut out a few window panes, and found them to have funky edges. So - this caused some unusable material on the roll at both ends, and caused me to have to re-cut several panes. My fault for not measuring all the sides and corners of my cut - my fault for assuming the roll was cut with square corners. But - jeez, I've never bought wrapping paper that didn't have square corners - why would I assume this wasn't straight either.My second issue was with the response from DuoFire - I contacted them about the issue soon after I found it (but way too far into my project to return the roll). Initial response was fast, with an offer to help resolve my problem - which was an acceptable solution to me -- however 3 weeks after I accepted their proposal to resolve the problem, I have not heard from them again at all after several attempts by me to contact them again - they have not contacted me back, so that was pretty disappointing.So - great product, mediocre QA, and lack of customer support.
