I ordered this portable air compressor and a completely different one at the same time and thought I'd compare the two and if both were good my wife and I would have every emergency compressor in ours Cars. I was impressed by this compressor on its own, but it was a cut above the other one I ordered which was powered directly from the cigarette lighter socket. This is a very good air compressor and I definitely recommend it to everyone. The first thing you will notice is the beautiful case it comes in. This is a waterproof zippered vinyl sleeve/bag. Once opened, you can see that everything is divided into individual foam compartments. The battery, hand pump, accessories, etc. are all in place and held securely in the foam. Upon receipt, I connected the dough immediately for preparation. Fully charged in a few hours. After charging I took it to my wife's car and her front driver's side tire was a bit low so it was a great opportunity to test it out. The coupler that connects the pump to the tire valve is handy as it screws onto the tire valve so you know it's secure. The buttons are a bit fiddly to understand, so I had to refer to the instructions on how to get the print where I wanted it (short press of this button, long press of the same button to adjust, short press of this button). . Once the pressure was dialed in, I turned on the power and she went to inflate the tire. I just mounted the pump on a concrete slab and let it do its job. It worked like clockwork with no issues. After inflating that one tire from about 29psi to 36psi, the battery was still showing full power streaks. What's also nice is that it comes with a cigarette power adapter so you can charge the battery on the go if needed. This is a great portable pump and I dropped this pump in my wife's car for her to pick up. I can throw away the other pump I have (because it's really bad) and buy another one for my car. Invaluable in an emergency, I highly recommend this product. Also makes a great gift!
