I don't have my own workshop so I use my garage when working on DIY projects. The biggest and heaviest thing I own is an old B&D table saw, which is invaluable when needed but just takes up corner space >99% of the time. It has always been difficult to pull a table saw into a comfortable position or to move it to pick up larger items, remove sawdust, etc. When I saw the advertised SOLEJAZZ Workbench Caster kit weighing 660 pounds, I thought so be worth a try. I ordered the set on Monday and it arrived on Tuesday; I just spent a few hours installing it and am very happy with the result. As you can see in the attached photo, the legs of the table are made of tubular alloy with an irregular cross-section and do not stand upright; So I wasn't sure how these casters would be attached. I was able to attach each bracket to the flat portion of the legs using the two screws provided, which were strong enough to fit the holes I had drilled in the metal legs. Raising and lowering the casters is done with just a swipe of my foot, and now I can position the table saw with almost no effort and lower it onto its legs for reliable work. The reels feel high quality and durable and should make my life easier for years to come. I am so pleased with this product that I have ordered a second set to use on a tool cabinet that doubles as a work desk. Here I have the opposite situation, the cabinet is on wheels so it's easy to move; but the casters are wobbly, resulting in an unstable work surface. I plan to put a solid wood base under the cabinet and then add those retractable casters for portability. Update: The second kit I ordered arrived the next day. How can you not be satisfied with this service. I now have both a table saw and tool cabinet that move easily when the casters are down and lock securely when the casters are out.
