So I've had a few of these to maintain my 10+ aquariums over the years. I have never been more impressed than by this Boxtech siphon. The suction power is excellent, it is easy to use and easy to assemble. 10/10 highly recommended. The absolute power of a gravel vacuum that rivals my water pump gravel vacuum. Easy to take apart and clean, which is key with these siphon designs with a balloon on the bottom. I have several aquariums with small fish and the drain tip keeps them from entering the siphon. I will say that the box it comes in crimps the hose. a little, and the hose doesn't loosen up immediately, but it does after a use or two, so no need to worry. So you might have that first "oh no" moment, but everything will be fine.
