Review on 📀 Sony BDPS1200 Blu-Ray Disc Player (2014 Model) - Wired playback for impeccable home entertainment by David Shah

All features worked well until the 5 year mark when Internet apps (Netflix and Amazon, even YouTube) stopped working properly. I was able to access these applications, but every time I tried to play one of them, the video stream wouldn't appear and sometimes the player would restart. DVDs still played without problems, and internet audio applications (mainly Pandora) continued to work. I bought a newer BD player and everything is working again, so it's not a network issue. The latest firmware was installed about a month before all these issues started appearing, and everything worked fine for a while. But now I've removed the player so I can only use it for discs in another room. I don't rule out that this is due to the latest firmware, but I doubt it a bit since all functions worked for a while after the update. I think it's just a coincidence that the player started glitching shortly after the update.
