This worked perfectly on our dining room table. There is a button you push to lower the bottom section which is rubber to grip onto your table. I was worried it would scratch the table but it is a soft rubber and works perfectly. The paddles are nice regular table tennis paddles and the net is actually better than what you use on a regular ping pong table. Just received it today and already had great time playing against my family. My husband kept saying this is one of the best purchases you could have made. The best thing about it is you can use it on any table so I can take it to the park and use it on a picnic table or take it to a friends home. Thanks for creating this product!
