I was just surprised at how good my car looked after I brushed it. I had bird droppings and wood dirt on my car. I live in an apartment building, so there is no wash hose. Between a bucket of soapy water, a watering can, and this brush, I was amazed at how great my car looked when I was done. The bristles felt too soft/not strong but I guess that's just deceiving. Despite being soft this brush is amazing and worked so well so don't be fooled. The purchase was worth it. FYI: I didn't have a pole, just a brush that I used by hand.
