It is not clear why the part behind the front seats has a center panel that extends more than 10 inches beyond the side panels. The side panels in my truck rise higher than shown in the photos and cover most of the front seat backs. As a result, the center section rises above the front seat headrests and there is no mounting option. Also, it has no straps, only rings. The only way to install the product is to fold the center section behind the front console and out of the way, making it (and the bags attached to it) useless and there really is no center dog barrier. . Contrary to what some reviews and answers say, it doesn't have a mesh center divider. Cars with a rear seat usually have a third headrest in the middle, but this product doesn't have straps to attach it to. Attach the extension to the front seat headrests which cannot be adjusted short enough to tighten the extension due to the way they are sewn to the buckles.
