I like the smell. It reminds me of huge kegs of cheap coffee when my grandma took me to bingo. it's very gritty, I like a good aggressive sugar scrub. My main problem is that it is very greasy. or fat. I do not know. All I know is that I washed off the coffee and sugar residue and was practically waterproof due to the layer left on my skin. I can ignore it well enough but I first bought the scrub for my husband and he was on the verge of disgust. He had to rub his entire body twice with a regular body wash to remove all oils. Also, regardless of the fat content, oils, or waxes, I didn't feel as hydrated as I should. If you don't sweat excessively after a shower, you should moisturize your skin. It could only be that I was getting hot, but I doubt it.
