Review on ☕ Cuisinart CHW-12P1 12-Cup Programmable Coffeemaker with Hot Water System - Black/Stainless Steel by Jennifer Young

DO NOT BUY! We bought this coffee maker to replace a similar one as the base plate rusted after a few years. However, the new one started to leak after less than 4 months (!?) because the base plate was already rusted! We checked the cork area to make sure it was inserted properly and took great care not to accidentally spill water when pouring into the tank, so it's definitely not our fault. We contacted Cuisinart because it was still under warranty and they offered to replace it (why do we need another?!) but we would have to pay $10 to have it shipped to us and we have to defective items will be returned to you at our own expense using a trackable insured delivery service. Needless to say we decided to buy another brand.
