It's hard to recommend and not recommend QL120 fans at the same time. These fans are great, fairly quiet, and provide reliable airflow. But they are also damn expensive and cause cable clutter. Having a body that is 50% glass I can't really appreciate the looks. Both sides of these fans are literally charged with LEDs that shine bright and bright. Combined with Corsair's iCue software which for my money is the best LED control software on the market and that's the only way to achieve the look. They also get top marks in terms of noise and efficiency. They can reach amazing speeds, and while they may not be 100% silent, they're nowhere near the loudest I've used. But you won't need them 100% often. They have really good efficiency and move the air really well. I only scroll them to a consistently high speed myself and when I really want to stress my machine with a heavily overclocked i7-7700k. The curve is where I've been silencing myself most of the time, it, with my CPU cooler, my insane overclocking and my case's acknowledged thermal limitations due to its glass, keeps my CPU and GPU nice and cool. I will add a caveat that they may not be the best for static pressure/radiator use. I've used them before on a candy bar and the temperatures were fine, but my Noctuas worked much better. However, putting these QL fans in push-pull mode can eliminate these problems. But that leads to the biggest problem. Price. They stand arms and legs. I had 3 expensive Corsair LL120s in my suitcase which I still use but would like to replace with the QL140. I don't have $200 right now. Because that's what you see here. You pay the same as a good 1TB NVME drive for 3 fans, RGB first. And in case you didn't know, RGB fans always have a separate cable that needs to be plugged in. Thankfully, purchasing multiple fan packs will get you one of the Corsair Lighting Node Cores, but you still need to assemble it. somewhere and connect these RGB cables. It's not always terrible, but it does add to cable management that in some cases you can't keep it clean.
