Review on 🔌 Mac Mini M1 USB-C Hub: SATA SSD/HDD Slot, USB 3.0/2.0 Ports, TF/SD Card Readers – Compatible with Mac Mini 2018/2020 by Aaron Villanueva

I've been hooking this up to my Mac Mini M1 16GB for a few weeks now. I fully loaded the ports to see if Bluetooth is off, as some reviewers have reported. I don't have any of these problems at all. I have a 1TB drive in the SSD bay and I'm copying back and forth with no problem. I also have a Bluetooth keyboard, mouse, and speakers that don't turn off after the system goes to sleep and wakes up. No Bluetooth issues when flash drives are connected. My M1 runs around 30 degrees Celsius or below when watching videos or doing intense work. Adding this device didn't change the pace at all, even with a 1TB drive in the SSD expansion. Reverse USB connectors are no different than some of the other dongles I have and use. No problem for me. I believe the device is a mix of plastic and metal to solve heat issues and it's well made. The color matches my Mac Mini M1 perfectly. I will update if performance changes.
