You get what you pay for

This is a cheap device. It looks cheap, the buttons are cheap, it's all the epitome of shoddy Chinese quality. I bought it to use in my car, every bump in the road makes it jump. So I put it on my kitchen counter as an alternative to an MP3 player. The slightest hit on the counter and she slips. The sound quality lacks "range and coloration". Everything sounds flat and tinny. I wish I could keep those great Sony Discmans from the 1990s. They were good portable CD players. Avoid this if you can.
