Check exhaust pipe size b4 u buy

I have a 2015 Chevy Sonic and it doesn't work with my car. I thought I should try on a vacuum cleaner, maybe all is not lost. I owned one of these over 20 years ago and it worked on my mother's old Ford Taurus. It may only work on certain exhaust pipes. If you want a good size comparison, they're a little smaller than the average stack.
