As a solar maintenance technician I have to say this is very good. Works well. Looks like decent quality. But there is ONE DANGEROUS FAILURE IN THIS DESIGN! The connector plugs that connect to the battery have the positive side connected to the OPEN/male side of the connector! So the part that stays connected to the battery when you unplug the solar panel has EXPOSED METAL on the POSITIVE side of the battery. It is connected BACK. The positive side of the wiring must use the female side of the plug so it never touches ground when not in use! Also, there are no caps/shields to attach the connectors when not in use. Not only that, THERE IS NO FUSE IN THE ELECTRICAL PLUG. Therefore, the terminals make EXTREMELY easy contact with GROUND, creating sparks and the risk of fire! If you look at other brands of plugs you will find that they are properly terminated, have end caps and built in fuses!
