Spoke to a customer service representative named Craig. When I called I couldn't get an answer from the technician at first, so I called and got a question about a new product. The guy said he would transfer me which he did there Craig replied and was already ticked that the previous someone didnt start a case or gave me a case number he mumbled about it i said i am sorry i knew not how the process was. The tank started leaking on 11/19/20, I contacted support on 11/20/20, the email said: Please provide an anode picture and sticker with model/serial number. I have submitted the model/serial number on 11/20/20 and photos of the tank leaking, I have not sent a photo of the anode rod as the tank needs to be drained and they do not have a drain plug and the hot and cold water is on top of the tank, so you have to pull out the whole front with the thermostat, the rod is attached to the heating element, i took it apart last year to check the anode rod and it looked ok, putting it back together it was a really bad job, craig said me that the rod must be checked every 6 months otherwise the guarantee will be void, 11/24/20 I have sent him a photo of the anode which seems good to me, I have not received a single reply from anyone at Bosch, I will all my relevant ones Send emails to the company (I will never buy a Bosch product again...)
